Cody Gallery, alongside the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington, DC, and International Arts & Artists are thrilled to present the world premiere screening of MAGNIFICA choreographed by Mimmo Miccolis from The Washington Ballet, and inspired by the titular exhibition by Italian duo Goldschmied & Chiari. This screening will be unveiled at the closing reception of Goldschmied & Chiari’s exhibition at Cody Gallery.

MAGNIFCA brings together a nexis of artworks made from murano glass and colored smoke bombs with contemporary dance, couture fashion, and pulsing music—fusing together these different mediums to create a four-minute screendance performance that is both intoxicating and playful at the same time.
